                                               WEEKLY REFECTION 4                                          (25 July 2022 – 29 July 22)         The fourth week of my teaching practice was a memorable one. The first day of the week start with an assembly and the teachers assigned us the duty to assemble the students for the morning assembly.  An innovative work has done based on a story The last leaf. The last leaf is a famous story of O Henry, so inorder to teach the students the story i developed a leaf using charts and other materials to develop interest among students. The whole story is presented through images and small conversation between the characters.

 Assembly was conducted by the students of X B. The assembly started with a prayer song and then students took the pledge.  The students made a speech about Kargil Vijay Diwas.(26 july 22) Then read the important news of the day.                                                WEEKLY REFLECTION 3                                                  18 JULY – 22 JULY 2022           The third week of teaching practice was started from 18 th July. As usual so many works and duties are there in the school. In the first day I reached the school and signed the attendance register. In the fifth hour I got a class at VIII C and took the remaining portion of Little Round Red House. With the help of ICT group activity were given to students. FOOD SAFETY AND STANDRADS AUTHORITY OF INDIA(FSSAI) Awareness program was conducted in the school. They reached the school in the afternoon session. There main aim was to provide and awareness about food testing among the students. 

                                           WEEKLY REFLECTION 2                                             (11 JULY – 15 JULY 2022)                The second week of the teaching practice was a busy one for me. I need to complete the portions of both VIII and IX classes. In the first day I introduced a new lesson in VIII C, The little round red house by Carolyn Sherwin Bailey. I used pictures and videos to enhance the teaching learning experience of the students. Meaning of difficult words were given through images and videos. So that the students could easily grasp the meaning of those words.   ...

  Today I got a free period and i interacted with the students. I asked  them to come and introduce themselves to reduce their stage fright. I also asked them  to share their problems in learning and at home. A student said that he is depressed because of stress of learning. But I tried my best to solve his problem. I really like him because he openly said his problem to me so that I can give him a remedy for that. The session was really useful for me to understand the students and their nature. ss 

  As part of b ed curriculum the second phase of our teaching practice was started on July 4 2022  The school allotted for me was Govt Boys HSS Kottarakara.
