                                WEEKLY REFLECTION

                                      01/08/22 – 05/08/22

The fifth week at the school was not a good week for me. Because due to heavy rain and bad weather majority of the students were absent in the class. And it is very difficult to reach the school due to heavy rain at the morning. We need to cover so many portions on time, but due to these problems it was not possible. In the first day of the week, I reached the school at 9.30 am and signed the attendance register. Sushma teacher (HM) told us that some of the teachers were absent and the teacher trainees should control the class. I got a substitution hour at IX A in the fourth period. I interacted with the students and some of them raised some doubts regarding an English lesson. In the last hour, I went to IX C and discussed some questions.

             Due to heavy rain, the district collector of Kollam had announced 2/08/22 -3/08/22 as holidays. So, we lost two working days.

In the fourth day of the week, I got an hour at IX B and I conducted the diagnostic test. Due to heavy rain only 27 students were present on the class. Proper instructions were given and later I collected the answer sheets. In the afternoon we served the meals for the students. In the sixth hour I got a substitution hour at VIII A.

The last and the fifth day of the week started with a substitution hour at VIII A. In the third hour, Reeshma teacher told me to monitor the class of X B, because the students were writing an exam. After the examination I collected the answer sheets. In the sixth- and seventh-hour teachers went to staff meeting and the teachers assigned us to manage all classes.
